I saw an ad for this on Facebook, checked it out, and consequently became a fan. Pinecones Under Glass. I have no idea what in the wonderful world of Disney this is about, but I guess you can look and shake your head and smirk as I did. Ah, the quiet pleasures with which Facebook provides us.
I have been slacking on updates lately — and it is partly because my life is separated into two areas:
(a) events which will take days to write blog posts chronicling, and
(b) the rest of my life, which is seriously not worth blogging about.
Really. I’m not even having big thoughts in this period of my life.
Fortunately, this will soon change; after this week, I will soon have a job, make friends, visit churches, take online courses, and generally get my butt in gear. I’ll definitely blog about our Germany trip once we have all of the pictures (I still need Zach’s).
I just realized…I will have been out of town every weekend this August.
Friday, August 1st: we left for Germany.
Friday, August 8th: en route to Berlin.
Friday, August 15th: in Corpus Christi, for Sarah’s wedding.
Saturday, August 22nd: in College Station, helping Zach move in to his apartment (!!!).
Friday, August 29th: CHATTANOOGA! for Paigey’s wedding.
Hmph. I wanted to have pictures for each of these events, but it looks like I only have one good picture. Pictures to come.
In other news: I am sad about the Godspell revival, Manda! But in a way, a little relieved…it narrows down my list of things I want to see on my potential trip to NYC. I do hope it happens, though; I’m so curious to glimpse what that show would be like on the Broadway stage! The stage is so much freer to do things that Hollywood films aren’t, if that makes sense; given the right director and producers, the show could really be done in a creative, truthful, even worshipful way.
i better see you this weekend, lady! we’re in apt 5 so stop by!
REF: AUG 22ND. GIG ‘EM AGGIES!!!!
